Day 3 in Sydney

The weather has been changeable today, starting off cloudy and a bit windy, followed by rain and sunny spells. We went first to Sydney Tower. This was completed in 1981 and is 309m high. The observation level is close to the top and offers 360 degree views of Sydney, including the many bays, inlets and islands, Sydney Harbour Bridge and of course the opera house. Luckily we timed our visit with a break in the clouds.

Next we walked to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and crossed it. It's VERY HIGH UP 59m!! Some (mad) people walk up the arch structure to the very top of the bridge 134m... nothing for this scared-of-heights Englishman!

We then took a ferry to Darling Harbour for a good Italian meal before heading back by ferry to our hotel.
