2nd stop - Santiago Chile 🇨🇱

Next stop Santiago, after a 4 1/2 hour flight from Rio yesterday. The flight should've been an hour shorter but we had to fly around a storm.

We checked into the Mandarin Oriental hotel late last night, around 11pm so we only saw city lights from our bedroom window, but this morning we opened the curtains to a fantastic view of the Andes mountains.

During the planning phase for this trip we booked a one day private tour into the Andes foothills 🏔️🏔️🏔️ and a visit to the famous Concha Y Toro wineyard, where they produce the Casillero del Diablo wines, amongst others. The visit included two sessions of wine tasting...... 🍷🍷🍷🍷🤪🤪 A great day with Hernan and Paulina that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Flyturen fra Rio til Santiago ble forlenget med 1 time pga en storm over Andes fjellene. Vi ankom Mandarin Oriental hotel seint, men i dag når vi åpnet gardinene var det en fantastisk utsikt. Som et postkort.

Under planleggingen av turen ønsket vi en privat tur til Andesfjellene og den kjente vingården Concha Y Toro som produserer den kjente vinen Casillero del Diablo. Under turen lærte vi mye om Chile og landets industri, historie, kultur og ikke minst vin.

På vingården, som er Chiles største og verdens nest største fikk vi et innblikk i produksjon, og også smake på de forskjellige vinene. Absolutt en tur å anbefale.😂🇨🇱🏔️🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
